1. Rental Terms & Conditions

By booking with Little Explorer Sri Lanka, you agree to the following terms:

• All items must be returned in the same condition as received, accounting for normal wear and tear
• Rental period begins on the start date and ends on the return date specified in your booking
• Late returns may incur additional daily charges
• You are responsible for the care and safekeeping of rented items during the rental period

2. Damage & Loss Policy

Normal Wear and Tear: Minor scratches, scuffs, and normal use signs are expected and will not incur charges.

Damage Charges: In case of significant damage to rented items:

• Minor damage (repairable): Up to 50% of product value
• Major damage (impairs function): 70-90% of product value
• Irreparable damage: 100% of product replacement value

Lost or Stolen Items: If an item is lost, stolen, or not returned:

• Full replacement cost of the item will be charged
• Replacement cost will be based on current market value
• We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for damaged or lost items

3. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required at the time of booking or delivery:

• Deposit amount varies by product type and rental duration
• Deposit will be fully refunded within 7 business days after item return and inspection
• Any damages or loss will be deducted from the deposit
• If damages exceed deposit amount, additional charges will apply

4. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before rental start date
• Cancellations within 48 hours: 50% refund
• No refund for same-day cancellations
• Refunds processed within 5-7 business days

5. Liability & Safety

While we ensure all products meet safety standards and are properly sanitized:

• Renters are responsible for proper installation and use of products
• We provide installation instructions but cannot guarantee proper installation
• Renters are responsible for checking product condition upon receipt
• Little Explorer Sri Lanka is not liable for accidents or injuries resulting from improper use
• Renters must follow all manufacturer safety guidelines

6. Data Privacy

We respect your privacy and protect your personal information:

• We collect only necessary information for rental processing (name, email, phone, address)
• Your information is never sold or shared with third parties
• Booking information is stored securely and deleted after 1 year
• We use your contact information only for rental-related communication
• You can request deletion of your data at any time

7. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes regarding damage, loss, or charges:

• Contact us within 24 hours of return to report any issues
• We will investigate and provide photo evidence if needed
• Fair resolution will be sought through discussion and evidence review
• For unresolved disputes, we follow Sri Lankan consumer protection laws
